Q: What payment do you accept?
A: We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Q: How do we pay by credit card?
A: Check out normally, and choose the standard check out. Fill in your information and select Credit Card as your payment method.
Q: How do I use the coupon code with credit card or Paypal?
A: Check out normally, and fill in the coupon code in the promotion code box. For Express Paypal check out, the coupon code could be applied before the final confirmation of payment.
Q: I'm getting the following error message when I tried to check out via Paypal standard:
"Unable to process the payment. Please contact the merchant as the shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid, and the merchant has requested that your order must be shipped to that address"
A: For USA customers, please make sure the state name of your address is in abbreviation, such as CA for California. If you are using Chrome browser, make sure the Autofill is disabled. Once the state is in abbreviation, you won't see this error message again. This problem (Paypal bug) does not occur to international buyers. It is recommended to use Express Paypal check out instead of the Paypal standard.
Q: What do you do different from other flashlight retailers?
A: We briefly tested every flashlight before shipping them, to minimize the chance of DOA.
Q: Is it secure to order from your website?
A: Our website is using SSL encrpytion and we are hosting on Prostores.com, which is part of Ebay.com.
Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.
Q: I'm getting the unable to process payment, shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid error during check out, what's the problem?
A: Paypal has changed restrictions lately, make sure the shipping address you put down matches exactly like the shipping address under your Paypal account. Do NOT use the full name for your state, you have to use the abbreviation. For example; instead of New York, you have to use NY (Domestic customers only).
Q: Why am I getting order confirmation E-mails when I didn't even pay with Paypal or fill in my credit card information?
A: The store is setup to send customers order confirmation whenever they try to check out. As long you didn't pay for it, you can just ignore the order confirmations, even if you are getting 3 or 4 of them with different invoice numbers.
Q: Can you ship my order to my company address?
A: If you want your order shipped to your company address under the company name, please key in your company name in the line two of STREET when you checkout, otherwise your company name won't show up on your mailing address. Or you can contact me with E-mail Shiningbeam@gmail.com and I will add your company name on to the shipping label.
Q: What do I do if I have a problem, such as defective light, ordered wrong item?
A: Please Email us at Shiningbeam@gmail.com, and we'll answer your question as quickly as we can.
Q: Can I return the item for refund if I don't like it?
A: As long the item is in its original condition, you can return the item for refund within a week that you received it. However, shipping fee is not refundable.
Q: How reliable are you?
A: Customers are extremely satisfied with our service; vist our ShiningBeam's Feedback Profile on eBay, review comments at RESELLERRATINGS.com or any other review boards and judge yourself.
Q: When will my order be shipped?
A: We usually ship out orders within 24 hours from Monday to Friday.
Q: How long it takes to get my order delivered?
A: Typical shipping time is 3 to 5 business day for domestic orders, and 10 to 15 business days for international orders.
Q: Will you honor price mistakes?
A: All price mistakes will not be honored.
Q: Does ShiningBeam.com pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise?
A: No, ShiningBeam.com does not pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise. We are not responsible for product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we carry. However, we will replace the item and ship the replacement to you at no charge.
Q: Is there a tracking number provided for international order?
A: Only domestic orders have tracking number, there is no tracking number for international order.
Q: I want to have a tracking number for my international order, how do I do that?
A: I can ship your order with USPS Express international mail (EMS), but it costs around $50 for 1 pound and under.
Q: What are the shipping costs?
A: We charge flat shipping rate of $2.85 for domestic orders. For international orders, price may vary.
Q: Which shipping company will you use?
A: USPS First Class Air Mail.
Domestic order will be shipped with delivery confirmation (Tracking), and international orders are shipped with standard air mail.
Once the package is shipped, it becomes the responsibility of the buyer. We cannot be
responsible for lost packages.
